Christmas in...January.

Mood= omgthereisaspider!

Well my ornament in now complete. Hooray! Only one million things left to do before leaving on Saturday (as opposed to one million and one).

Bleh at this rate Noah is going to have to concentrate his efforts on teaching all the animals how to swim instead of building an Ark, cause this bookmark deal is taking forever. If I can find a little plastic needle I'm going to have to do some on the plane.

Reasons to Ban Embroidery Needles on Planes:

Useful for sewing lips together in protest against poor quality aeroplane food. Potential to cause cabin disturbance.

Essential equipment in running small-scale jail tattoo business from toilet area. Creates hygeine issues, especially in the case of running out of surgical alcohol. 5x100ml bottles can only go so far.

Hah, you're hilarious. I wonder why they don't let you bring embroidery needles but you can bring knitting needles. Hmm...you would think a set of big ten inch long needles would be *more* dangerous.

Not so sure about knitting needles either. They're listed as banned on the Air New Zealand website. The girl at the craft store I was searching for plastic needles in said her sister had an unsharpened eyeliner pencil confiscated. Told it was a "potential weapon". I bet they just liked the brand.

Ah, didn't think of that. We can bring knitting needles on US flights, but we used to couldn't. So frustrating...we could bring pencils, we could bring pens, we could bring all manner of long somewhat pointy objects, just not knitting needles. We can now...usually. But on occasion, you'll get a grouchy guard who will still try to take them.
